MESSAGE FROM THE KING:
Revenge Movies? The second one, Message from the King with Chadwick Boseman, is more hokey, along the lines of early Jean-Claude Van Damme. It provided more layers but not much nuance when it comes to unraveling the mystery behind the disappearance of a woman whose brother, a South African detective who comes to Los Angeles to find her.
Some great ass kicking scenes mixed with a morality play.
Recommendation: LOW-MEDIUM
