Television ShortsSmart, close to high concept but slower pacing, character development and flashback sequences keep the series leveled.
Major knock: lack of intensity even with sufficient violence and sexual situations.
Interesting facet: pushes the boundaries on what hooks a viewer/reader to a story:
1) Characters -- no major/minor ones to really root for, relate to, etc... (at least for me)
2) Plot -- rare high points that sensationalize the story, topic, etc...
...still, I find myself yearning for the next episode.
Recommendation: MEDIUM-HIGH
